His communication turned out to be particularly effective and he put his personal touch on more than 3000 products!
Nonetheless, he left that company in 1977 to join Max Factor, a popular line of cosmetics owned by the Procter & Gamble company, as vice president. He then completely revised the positioning of the brand, aesthetically transforming all the product lines and treating cosmetic care in the same way as one puts forward a perfume. In 1980, Bob Aliano launched himself in total independence as a marketing consultant. He then assisted many companies such as Syntex Corporation, Sprague Metal Box, SkinControl, Princess Cruises … There, in 1986, he was approached by the company Giorgio Beverly Hills. She appointed him vice-president and it was then that Bob Aliano really embarked on the design of perfumes proper.
Bob Aliano, the perfumer
When he joined Giorgio Beverly Hills, Bob Aliano’s ambition was to develop the brand globally. To do this, he acted on three actions simultaneously. He greatly developed the creative direction of the company. At the same time, he ensured a permanent watch so as to seize all new business opportunities. Finally, he marketed new perfumes while working with advertising agencies to establish their notoriety from the outset. He thus contributed to the creation of Giorgio Red for Women and for Men as well as Wings for Men and Women, both in terms of smell and design. This jack-of-all-trades has thus affixed its touch to the scented recipe of its juices while endowing them with a strong visual effect.
More recently, Bob Aliano has also collaborated with Hugo Boss. He participated in the design of Hugo in 1995, as well as Hugo by Karim Rashi, Hugo Create Limited Edition or Hugo Spray, in 2009.
